Who this notice covers
CaseForge is a brand operated by Woodman Supply. This notice covers the public tools at filing.caseforge.tech and the hosted CaseForge workspace at app.caseforge.tech. Some public tools run on your device; the hosted workspace handles information you choose to enter, connect or upload there.
Public tools
BluBoo processes the document you select in your browser. It does not send that document, filename, citation text or output to CaseForge. The local Filing Factory plugin processes files on the computer running your assistant; files you download stay where you save them. Your AI provider’s terms apply to material you send to that provider.
The standalone Writing Voices chooser saves your selected voice and controls in your browser. Connected voice tools send only public selection and settings metadata. These public voice tools do not receive document text or access hosted Cases. They do not return profile instructions or source references, and voice application is currently unavailable. Advanced access records include action counts, reset dates and a daily account-scoped selection record used to avoid counting the same selection twice.
Hosted account and workspace
When you sign in to CaseForge, we handle account details such as your email address, sign-in provider information, workspace and Case memberships, access settings, session records and security events to authenticate you, manage access and protect the service. Google sign-in uses your verified account identity and email. Email sign-in uses your email address and password. Password setup and reset use one-time links sent to your email address.
In the hosted workspace, we handle information you enter or upload, such as Case details, documents, messages, financial records, notes and instructions, along with related filenames, extracted document text, summaries, work products and activity records created when you use a feature. When you upload a document, CaseForge may extract text or run OCR as part of intake. Some enabled workflows also send relevant material to OpenAI for analysis. We use this information to provide the features you request, keep your workspace available, enforce the access you were given and protect the service.
AI and connected services
When you request a feature that uses AI, CaseForge sends the prompt and the Case information needed for that request to OpenAI to produce a response. Depending on the feature, the request and response may be saved as part of your hosted work. OpenAI processes information under the terms that apply to its services; CaseForge does not promise a provider-specific retention period.
If a supported connection is available and you authorize it, CaseForge may handle account details, connection permissions and the information you choose to import, search or send through Google services such as Gmail, Drive or Calendar, Microsoft services, Dropbox or Box. Connecting Google for sign-in alone does not connect your Gmail, Drive or Calendar. Each provider handles its own copy under its terms. Disconnecting a provider stops future authorized access but does not itself delete information already placed in your CaseForge workspace or a provider account.
Payments and website delivery
Live checkout is unavailable. The separate checkout-test site is a test environment: use only test payment details and do not submit confidential Case information there. Stripe handles its test payment form and sends CaseForge the test purchase details needed to check test access. CaseForge does not receive full card numbers or security codes.
Cloudflare delivers and protects the public website and hosted service. Like other internet services, it receives technical request information such as your IP address, browser, requested page and request time for delivery and security. The public tool pages do not upload your documents for analytics.
Retention and your choices
Hosted information is kept for different periods depending on its purpose and any legal, operational or security need. This notice does not set one service-wide retention period. Hiding a Case, signing out or disconnecting an outside account does not necessarily delete information already held by CaseForge or that outside provider.
You may write to request access, correction or deletion, or to ask a question about privacy. We may need to verify your identity and authority, and some information may need to be retained or may exist in separate records or provider accounts. We will explain the limits that apply to your request. The mailing address for correspondence appears on the Contact page. Do not mail payment-card details or confidential case files.
Clear your browser storage to remove saved standalone voice settings. Manage downloaded files on your device. CaseForge cannot retrieve or delete local copies of documents that were not sent to the hosted workspace.
Changes
This notice will be updated when our information handling changes. The date above shows the current version.
